how to... make this rather cute Christmas Card.

You will need:-

  • 1 x A4 Card of your chosen colour theme.
  • Gold or Silver Foiled card.
  • Red Card or which ever colour you want to use.
  • Shrink Plastic.
  • Black Ink Pad for stamping.
  • Stamp of your choice.
  • Sticky back pads.
  • Pastels/Chalks
  • Background Paper.
  • Ribbon.
  • Heat Gun.
  • Hole Puncher.
  • Peel offs.
  • Deckle Edge Scissors.
  • Cotton Wool Balls.

You can make your card landscape or Portrait. Here you see two versions. On the Red Card Peel offs have been added to add some dazzle.

Score and A4 sheet of Card you card size will be 10cm x 20cm. Cut off the rest. Do not fold your card until you have decorated it, which will make it easier for you to.

Cut a strip of wavy background paper with your deckle edged scissors. Apply double sided tape to the back and attach across your card.
Stamp on your shrink Plastic with your chosen design 4 times with a black ink pad. Colour in with Pastels/Chalk with a Cotton Wool Bud. Cut out carefully making sure they are all the same size.

Heat with your heat gun to shrink it. The Shrink will curl up and shrink to a quarter of the size. Flip it over when heating and then press flat with the back of your stamp when it is almost flat.

Cut four small squares out of Silver/Gold foil........and also your chosen colour slightly larger. On the foiled backing card apply a large sticky back pad on the back and then the colour with Double sided tape and finally the shrink plastic. Arrange along the card on the strip of wavy cut paper.
Punch two holes under the strip and thread through ribbon of your choice. Along the bottom on these cards I have added Christmas Peel offs.

VOILA!!

A really fun Christmassy card to send to your Family and Friends.

Have Fun!!!
