For
craft projects, acrylic paints, water colours and poster
paints. Suitable for Air Brushing. It can be glazed with
any form of spray glaze or brush on glazes.
 |
Main
ingredients are potato flour and rice flour. Is very
safe to use but recommended for children’s use
only when old enough not to put in the mouth (because ARTISTA
SOFT has its own glue it could stick in the
throat).
If
you are undertaking larger projects where both pieces
are dry then you can use either a little wet ARTISTA
SOFT paste, or any PVA Craft glue – Tacky
glue.
ARTISTA
SOFT can be used for any type of modelling
or moulding. In place of Paper Mache, and other
oven backed clays or pastes; - dolls and dolls
house furniture. |
For
train or aircraft modelling – for card embellishments – napkin
rings or any kind of craft work. It
can be used for making moulds or veiners and can be cut with
designed cutters, scissors, or a craft knife.
ARTISTA
SOFT has a forever shelf life providing you keep
it from the air. DO NOT PUT IN A FRIDGE OR FREEZER and
to be kept away from direct sunlight where it could sweat
while still in the packaging. Once opened, seal the packaging
again and place in a piece of cling film and then in a
polythene bag or box.
(Do
not keep in cling film only as this breathes).
To
avoid the paste being too sticky for you to use put
a little grease (i.e. Nivea Crème, Trex )
on your hands, the boards, the cutters or whatever
you are using and leave in the air a little to air
dry to enable you to get the consistency you wish.
ARTISTA
SOFT is sold in large packs of white paste,
which can be coloured with the relative colour
of your choice. ARTISTA SOFT Also
has the four main primary colours in smaller packs
(Blue, yellow, red and black). All the
colours are intermixable and when moulded together
can make a kaleidoscope of colours. |
|
 |
The
coloured pigments are ARTISTA SOFT and
contain very heavily pigmented colours. You could find
that the coloured pigments on their own had lost a
little bit of the glue content in them, so meld down
with a little white ARTISTA SOFT.
You can be working with these colours and they will
not come off on your hands.
Note:
Because ARTISTA SOFT is an opaque
paste it is very difficult to get vibrant colours
when using acrylics and water colours etc, so we
recommend that you do use the ARTISTA SOFT colour
pigments.
For cake decorators you may
use your dust colours, glycerine
paste colours or food colouring
also. Remember it is non –edible
and although the contamination
between cake and decorations
is not a problem, but because
you cannot eat it you cannot
cut through when dry, use for
decoration purposes only. Either
put sprays in a pick or container.
Dust powder colours on when
dry – then glaze with
Confectioner’s glaze.
